Meet Dr. Reese Patient Forms

Dr. Zickuhr is originally from Solon, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a minor in Healthcare management from the Wharton School of Business. She played on the Division I basketball team at U Penn.  Subsequently, she earned her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.  She was the president of the student council as well as receiving many awards including the College of Medicine and Public Health Achievement Award and the Hermann Award in Surgery from The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. 

She completed her Orthopaedic Surgery residency training at the University of California, Irvine.  She was nominated and elected to the national position on the ACGME Residency Review Committee (RRC) for Orthopaedic Surgery. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery with world renowned Dr. Michael Brage.

Dr. Zickuhr specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems.  She treats complex foot and ankle pathology including, trauma, sports injuries, ankle injuries, fractures/dislocations, major and minor foot/ankle reconstructions, ankle replacements, arthroscopy, forefoot deformities (bunions, hammer toes, etc.) and Achilles Tendon problems.  Her goal is to help patients live active and healthy lives.

Dr. Zickuhr has been involved in orthopaedic research and has a number of presentations and publications to her credit. She is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and the California Medical Association.
